2. What You Need to Rent

  • Required Documents: Proof of income (pay slips or employment contract), personal ID (passport), and possibly previous landlord references.  
  • Deposits & Lease Terms: Typically 3 months’ rent as deposit; furnished places may require 6 months. Prepaid final month is common. 
  • Lease Duration & Agreements: Standard lease is one year—review special clauses carefully.
